Tue, 28 Dec 2004 15:49:13 GMT Ben_144 2004-12-28T15:49:13Z https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/version-control-repository-error-12007/m-p/3451429#M8529 I'm getting this error in SIM 4.01<BR /><BR />VCRM log entry: https://SERVERNAME:2381/vcrepository/log?entryId=VCRM1104040807<BR />Error for file: catalog.xml<BR /> Error code: 12007<BR /> The server name could not be resolved.<BR /><BR />I looked it up and Microsofts error code reason for 12007 is:<BR /><BR />12007 ERROR_INTERNET_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED <BR />The server name could not be resolved<BR /><BR />We are running ISA 2004 and IE is setup with the correct proxy settings. I browse the internet fine. What I'm wondering is if VCR uses an unusual port that we are blocking in ISA? Considering upgrading to SIM 4.02, but I don't know if we'll have the same issue with that version.
