Hi,

Would someone from HP please clarify the HTML errors which occur during VPM acquisitions?

I know that HP is working on correcting data streams from vendors such Microsoft. But I've noticed that over the last week or so, I've had the same number of errors (103) from each nightly acquisition.

Should we be taking some action on these? Or are these simply data streams which HP has not corrected yet?

Thanks,
- Steve
Steve,
Are these the error code 300 & 407 errors?
I only run the Acquisition weekly and got 388 errors each of the two weeks I've tried.
Hello,

I'm also seeing error code 407 when attempting to acquire VPM updates. After a bit of digging, it appears that it's attempting to gain anonymous access to the Internet through our ISA proxy server (which is set to accept unencrypted logins), even though I've set my username and password in the Options -> Vunerability and Patch Management -> Settings page. Has anyone experienced this problem and been able to solve it? I'm using a domain user for this, if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance
Stephen

We don't have a proxy server. I still get the same errors every night, on the same 103 updates.

- Steve
