Mike,
I'm not sure where you're seeing the problem. Is it PMP that is not displaying something?
does the Windows default Performance Monitor show something different?

PMP Processor Configuration Issue

I just added a DL320 G2 server to my performance monitoring and when I check its status, everything is green, but there is a configuration issue:

Hyperthreading is enabled, but the Operating System cannot access some of the processor cores.

The server is running Windows Server 2003 standard and I am currently running HP SIM 4.1 and PMP 3.0. Has anyone seen this issue?

Thanks.

Mike

I'm sorry...I just now realized how extremely vague I was with that post.

I had just recently added a DL320 G2 to the network and configured it as a managed client with HP SIM 4.2. I licensed it for PMP and when I took a look at PMP that night, it stated that there was a processor configuration issue. With the Processors tree item selected on the left pane, the "issue" listed in the right pane was: "Hyperthreading is enabled, but the Operating System cannot access some of the processor cores."

I googled that message and ran a search on HPs site, but didn't come up with anything informative. I was hoping someone with HP could indicate what that message meant and maybe what criteria needs to be met for PMP to consider that an issue.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Mike
