Problems with Repository Manager Catalog

Hi,
after installing SIM and Repository Manager I get the following error message when trying to download the catalog:

The automatic repository update failed because an error occurred while processing the download site catalog.
Additional Data
Error for file: f:\Repository\catalog.xml
Error code: -2147467259
XML document must have a top level element.

Where is the problem?

First off, I advise caution with using the automatic download feature, you end up with a lot of stuff you will not use.

If you've got a very varied site and no problem with disk space then go ahead.

I download what I require, typically softpaqs, into a unique sub-directory for eace followed by updates, online ROMs etc into a separate directory.

Alas, I can't help with the error listed above.
