The new SIM databases are named like this:
Insight_(version)_0_(timestamp) so it looks like that is your old CIM7 DB.
Hello

We are running out of space on our SQL server that houses our Insight databases.

We are not sure if this database (installed with default name) is our old CIM7 database or is related to the SIM database:

INSIGHT_DB_V32

Anyone know?

Another factor would be if there's historical information in the database you want. Disk space used etc.
This could still be accessed from MS Excel / Query etc.
You might want to just disconnect the database first. That's a non-destructive operation.
