Hi Mike,

Not sure if you can, if someone else can come up with the answer, for, I would also be interested.

However I have a couple of suggestions, you may have already thought of, but thought it would be worthy of a mention just in case.

1. If you are running E2K / E2K3, you could configure a virtual SMTP server secured only for use by the HP SIM server.

2. An solution I have used is to configure the HP SIM server as an SMTP relay. This is secured to stop unauthorised use. I then configure HP SIM to use it's own SMTP server in the thoughts that if HP SIM is available, then hopefully it's SMTP server is also available.

Hope this is useful :-)

Hi Derek,

Thanks for the Virtual SMTP Suggestion which sound like a solution as we have recently got exchange 20000. We have one SMTP virtual server routing mail currently. I tried adding another virtual server (port 25)but the mail did not get delivered. How should the new virtual server be configured we currently use a smart host setting on the original virtual server as all of our mail needs to go one way. I have used the same IP address as the original virual server is using 7025/8025 port nos.
