topic SIM boot failures - SIM 4.2 and green question marks in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I download T2415BA_4.02.00_Win.exe and
unzipped it. I ran both setup.exe and later
setupex.exe. This particular server now
sends events to my CMS, and I can see this
server from my CMS console, but the MP (management processor status) and PF (performance status) are question marks. I think this may be related to some services not starting - towit:

The HP Insight Event Notifier service terminated with
service-specific error 1 (0x1).

The HP Performance Management Pack service terminated unexpectedly.
It has done this 1 time(s).

Anyone out there solve this problem?

This is on a Proliant DL380 running windows 2003 server

You do not need the HP Event Notifier, it's not part of HPSIM and the functionality is superceded.

PF will be a ? until Servers are licensed. You get 5 PMP Licenses free with HPSIM.
MP will be a ? unless you have the ILO/RILOE Cards connected to the Network, configured and in the HPSIM Discovery range.
