Im looking at "IMA 5.1D on Insight Manager 7"

Firstly - the "CPU Error Alert" is greyed out (on a HP D530) - Searching help reveals it's for PII chips??? Does it / can it work on PiV?

Secondly - Im seeing HP Insight Manager ver 5 as current. Is there 2 sets of solutions, compaq and HP?

Compaq Insight Manager 7 became HP Insight Manager 7 with the first update post-merger. In December 2003 HP Insight Manager 7 was replaced by HP Systems Insight Manager. We are now in our 3rd major release, 4.2.

While HP SIM works for client machines, the prescribed solution is HP Client Manager. It has features specifically for desktops/notebooks like the System Software Manager for updating firmware and drivers.
