I have also set the Community string name (Read/Create rights) the same as set in HP SIM 4.2. And to receive SNMP pckts from any host. The agents and SNMP.exe under services.msc are showing running. <BR />Problem is when I do a data collection poll for these servers, it gave me an error tat the server does not have any instrumentation. <BR />1. What else have I not set? <BR />2. Any more detailed error log I can check for?<BR />3. Any commands or tool I can use to trace to confirm that the SNMP is working fine btwn the manager and the managed server?<BR />4. What other solutions or things I can look out for? <BR />Pls help.
