Yes, it is possilble to get encryption license for the HPE StoreOnce VSA GEN 4.

StoreOnce data at rest and data in flight encryption prevents unauthorized access to data on disk and unauthorized access to data being transmitted between StoreOnce systems.
Data in Flight encryption via IPSec is only supported with StoreOnce Catalyst. It is not supported with VTL or StoreOnce NAS interfaces. The use of IPSec encryption may reduce write performance. Performance reductions reduce after first the first write.

The 90 day evaluation license enables catalyst and replication for a VSA but NOT encryption. This has to be purchased separately.
