HP Data Protector Expres 4.0 SP2 Backup issues

Hi everybody,

we have a Windows Storage Server 2008 with HP DPX, one WIndows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise with an HYper-V, 3 Windows Server 2008 R2 and one Windows Server 2008 R1.

In the DPX i find the Server and i can see the files.

The backup runs on a virtual tape device on the harddisk from the Storage Server (yes the drive has a drive letter =) ).

Now i can only backup the Storage Server, the Server 2008 R2 Enterprise and the 2008 R1. With the R2 it is not possible to backup the files.

The backup starts and after some seconds the message "Error 2. End of file" appears.

So my question is, why can i backup the other Systems and not the R2s? Are they not compatible with DPX?

2008 R2 and Win7 are not compatible with 4.0 but it is compatible with 5.0
