I get the same on v3.00 of OA on all my integrity blades.
It's got to be a bug as it gets displayed in the information section of each bay correctly.
Proliant blades show up ok.
Hi all,

After updating an OA to v3.0 we seem to have lost the ILO firmware version on Rack Firmware display screen. Is this information available in a view elsewhere or was it lost completely??

Thanks,
Gary
hi gary
reseat the active OA first wait a min fans will go up full speed thats normal then reseat it

now the redundant OA if you have one
did you update the ilos too this is important

use the bundle pack that updates ilo and sys rom on the motherboards

ensure you use the bundle from here the after reseat the oa after firmwares..
good practice to also resweat the interconnects too active ones first

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/blades/components/c-class.html#tab3_content

This is how we thank each other in the forum
its for all who contribute in assisting

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#33

Enjoy:)
Thank you Mark,

Customer had the following config:
OA 2.60
Blade ROM: 4.21
ILO FW: 3.15
Both the blade and the ILO were current and did not need updating. The action was updating the OA to 3.00 and then we lost access to see the ILO FW version on the Rack Firmware screen.

Reseating is not an option for the customer as this would be a possible issue across all the blade chassis.

THanks again for your feedback,
Gary

hmm reseating oa will not affect other blades if you follow the process above i advised the oa does a re- discovery,,of the contents of the enclosure

This is how we thank each other in the forum
its for all who contribute in assisting

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#33

I guess I accept your solution but it is not feasible with many blade chassis. The customer is not in the data center with the blades and the hosts are 30 minutes away at least.

I am trying to find out if this is normal so I know how to instruct my customer because they donâ t want to reseat OAs every time they upgrade a chassis.

Gary
