Are you using the original RHEL4 media? The OS matrix list RHEL4 Update 3 as minimum for this system. I know RHEL4 Update 5 loads without the need to use the driver disk as it contains a version of the cciss driver that works on an e200

Hello,
I am trying to install Red Hat 4 in a BL465C.
I mount a cd-rom drive from another server and after that create the array with Smartstart 7.90. After that i make boot with Red Hat cd1 and after some steps it apears the message: choose from where it will be installed the Linux. I choose cd-rom. Then a new message apears: choose where to install the Red Hat. the driver from the disk controller (smart array e200) is not loaded and i can't load it.
The installation will not continue if linux does not see controller.
Those anyone have some ideas?
Can anyone help me?

You need a driver disk to ccis controller, make iso image of it and mount with virtual media. during the install it will ask for the driver disk.
