topic Redhat 5.3 Network/Bonding Issues in BladeSystem - General

We have had the 4.3 Redhat install automated for a while and it has worked like a champ but here is what we are seeing with a 5.3 Redhat 64bit upgrade.

We install the drivers from the HP SmartStart disk..reboot
On reboot we create the bonds that in the past are look like:

Redhat Virtual Connect Port
eth0(bond0) = 1 Embedded NIC
eth1(bond0) = 2 Embedded NIC
eth2(bond1) = 3 Mezzanine
eth3(bond1) = 4 Mezzanine
eth4(bond2) = 5 Mezzanine
eth5(bond2) = 6 Mezzanine

Now what is happening:
Redhat Virtual Connect Port
eth0(bond0) = 1 Embedded NIC
eth1(bond0) = 4 Embedded NIC
eth2(bond1) = 2 Mezzanine
eth3(bond1) = 3 Mezzanine
eth4(bond2) = 5 Mezzanine
eth5(bond2) = 6 Mezzanine

This is just an example, it is actually different every time we install. I assume this happens somewhere at the kernal level but I need to figure out how to get consistent results. I know how to fix it but when onsite admins install they aren't C7000 experts so it is messing them up.

Thanks for any help!

Sorry, correction on that.

Now what is happening:
Redhat Virtual Connect Port
eth0(bond0) = 1 Embedded NIC
eth1(bond0) = 4 Mezzanine
eth2(bond1) = 2 Embedded NIC
eth3(bond1) = 3 Mezzanine
eth4(bond2) = 5 Mezzanine
eth5(bond2) = 6 Mezzanine
