Hello Dave

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/blades/components/fibrechannel/pass-thru/

As you can see by the diagram the AMBER clip on the release arm indicates its hot swop.

Im pretty sure all components of the C-Class are hot swop.

Hot Plug c-class interconnects?

Hi,
I can't find an answer in the documentation, maybe someone here can help. Are any of the interconnect modules hot add? Specifically I'm thinking of the fibre channel pass thru module. I'm going to buy an enclosure but I don't know if I'll need FC right away and want to be able to hot add one down the road if we do end up needing it.
TIA!

Hi Dave,

Thanks! I figured they were hot swap. But I want to make sure that they're "hot add" meaning if I decide to add a FC pass thru module 6 months from now, I don't have to power down the entire enclosure for it to be recognized. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks again,
--Dave

Absolutely, you will be able to hot add any compatible c-class interconnect modules, Onboard Administrator modules, fans, power supplies and blade servers.
