Hi!

I have never heard of any way to do this via the OA Card. But a module in HP System Insight Manager 5.2 named Insight Power Manager could do it. It can export powerdata for c-class enclousures.

Target the enclosure object in IPM and under HP Power Management Actions you choose export.

Is there a way how the OA power meter can log readings directly to a file?

Or is it possible to get the power readings from the OA for the last 24 hours via some OA commands and transfer them to a file?

Are you trying to capture the power readings of a blade(s) or the total power used by the enclosure?

Do you have an ilO Select license on the iLOs?

I need total power used by the enclosure as a whole.

Yes I do have the iLO Select licence, but I have not used this yet.
Hi,
Insight Power Manager can record power consumption history from OA.
Also check out the new Dynamic power capping launched recently- http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/ipm/index.html
it can control the power consumption of enclosure
