I must uplink a Flex10 module to a Cisco Nexus switch, and for that I have some Cisco cables with fixed SFP.

Unfortunately the Flex10 module reports the Cisco SFP as "incompatible".

On Cisco equipment it is possible to disable vendor check, does anyone know how to do that on the Flex10?

Ole Thomsen
It is not possible. There are equivalent HP copper SFP+ cables that will work.

0.5m SFP+ 10GbE Copper Cable 487649-B21
1m SFP+ 10GbE Copper Cable 487652-B21
3m SFP+ 10GbE Copper Cable 487655-B21
7m SFP+ 10GbE Copper Cable 487658-B21

Thanks Ken.

Glad Cisco is not that strict, or I would have had no way of connecting this equipment :-)

Ole Thomsen
