Check out the below thread and see if your blade has a similar setup in the bios to select FC HBA as the boot controller.
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1354557

BL460c G6, newest BIOS, with EMulex HBA on EVA 8100. Installed OS is Win2k3 32bit.
Boot from SAN works fine, when there are no local disks in the blade.
With local disks present, initializing Smart Array controller takes an unusual long time and the boot procedure hangs after showing
"Attempting to boot from C:"
After that any RAID configuration on the controller are lost.

Any idea, anyone?
I already checked Boot Order and Boot Controller Order in RBSU. Twice.

Could this be an IRQ sharing issue?

I cross-checked the BIOS Setup with another Blade, which is working, but no avail.
BTW: Mezzanine Card is in Position 2 because the FC switches are in interconnect slots 5+6.
