Hi,

My Cisco Switches in interconnect bay 7 & 8 do not display connected port mappings to ~half the blades I have slotted. (specifically it is not showing as connected for bay 1, 4, 6, 7, 8)

I have a c7000 enclosure that contains:
7 BL460c units (bays 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11)
2 BL480c units (bays 7, 8)
6 Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 (interconnect bays 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8)
2 Brocade 4/24 SAN Switch
(interconnect bays 5, 6)
2 OA

Why would this be and how can I best go about resolving such?

What type of mezz cards do you have installed? if you have quad port card installed on slot 2, the 4 ports will map to bays 5,6,7 and 8. The show all file from the OA will help (Telnet to OA and use the "show all" command)
