    <description>You are probably right.  The dvd that I am using is too new for this old of a server.  It is an HP DVD840 which is not in the very short list that you linked too.</description>

      <title>bl60p does not recognize external dvd</title>

      <description>I am trying to install an o/s onto a bl60p.  I could not get it to install over the lan, it always stopped at booting kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;I attached an external hp dvd840 drive to the usb01 connection but when I am in the efi, it does not recognize the device.&lt;BR /&gt;When I run connect it gives me an error:&lt;BR /&gt;exit status code: Not Found which I think is referring to the cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;I tried connect 14 which also gives the same error.  Is there anyway to get around this and get an o/s on this system?</description>

      <description>I would try from EFI:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; reconnect -r&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; map -r&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Results?</description>
