Hi,

I'd like to have opinions regarding firmware updates. How do you plan your updates? Do you use the latest release set, and upgrade only to the latest individual firmwares if you have problems with the latest release set?

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/blades/components/c-class.html#tab3_content (Compatibility tab).

Thanks,

Ugo

hello,
HP prefered way is to use HP BladeSystem Online Firmware Bundle, but we had no problem with duing in individually (and reading dependencies before!) and do not jump over many firmware levels at one step...

Jan

There is now HP FW update dvd that is replaced all other FW update sets.

Latest release set is best, but wait few moments before using latest as there might be some bugs (Like current 9.10 is C revision).

HP will support a system with latest release set and two of the older ones.
