      <title>Bonding problem with embedded Emulex NIC</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi to all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have problem with bonding miimon=100.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have HP 1Gb Ethernet Pass-Thru Modules and Emulex and Broadcom NIC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bonding with Broadcom NIC is working perfect and with Emulex NIC I have problems:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- When I unplug cable from port Link will staid up (MII Status: up)and traffic will be lost&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- WHen I put cable back I have to wait for about 10 minutes that system established physical connection and link become up and start to handle traffic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have anybody experienced that same situation?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same problem here, the adapter does not detect loss of connection. SO: Debian Linux 6.0 (squeeze). Tried updating both firmware and driver: 4.1.402.20, hp-be2net-4.1.402.6-2 (4.1.402.6) respectively.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;rob&lt;/P&gt;</description>
