Hi,

In one of our enclosures we have some not standard configuration - see attached file.
(4 BL480, 5 BL460 and 2 SB40)
Now we want to add new BL460 to this enclosure - in buy 6 - but seems that it is not impossible. The reason: the part 408631-002 (shelf) we receive only with SB40 and not with BL460 blades. And part 408375-001 (which we receive with enclosure) doesn't match by size..
BTW, I cannot find 408375-001 and 408631-002 on HP partsurfer..
Any ideas ?

Hi Igor,

I think with your current configuration you can't add a BL460 to enclosure.

If you are changing the positions of the servers you can.
please refer to the attachment.

In the new arrangement you can use the shelf which comes with the enclosure (part 408375-001).

Hi Igor,

please note at that time SB40c will be partner for Server14.

If you want it to be a partner of BL480, we will end up in the same state.

We want SB40 as partner for BL480
(currently SB40 in buy 10 is partner for BL480 in buy 1)
So, no solution exists....
