Hello,

Has anybody tried to use a Graphics Mezzanine card in a BL460C G6?

I don't find any information about in the documentation.

Maybe it is not supported, but possible.

The system would be used in a testlab-setup

A WS460C G6 reverts to a BL460C when the graphics mezzanine card is removed (same systemboard).

Theoretically it should work if the BIOS is new enough (after they merged the BL and WS BIOS) but I know some of the WS460s had special air baffles inside to help cool the GPUs.

Gen8 blades now have a DIP Switch to select between WS and BL

How did you get on?

I have bl685c G5 blades and I would like to add nvidia mezzanine cards to them. It would be very useful to hear of your experiences and tips.
