Christian had a customer UPS question and power sequencing:

*********

My customer has about 20, C7000 BladeSystem Enclosures in his datacenter, each connected to one big UPS.

He use at all enclosures the three phase AC configuration (400 V) with dynamic power savings mode and noticed, that the third power phase is nearly not used at every enclosure.

This circumstance cause a negative impact for the effectiveness of his UPS-system.

Is it possible to configure a sequence for the power phases, to distribute the power consumption between them ?

*************

Input from Scott:

*************

It can be done with PDU’s;
