for Virtual Connect Flex-10 modules. CX4 and X1 ports are shared ports. So either we can use CX4 port or X1, but not both at the same time.

If we are using X1, then CX4 port will be disabled and vice versa.

I have a c3000 enclosure and two VC Flex-10 modules in interconnect bay 3/4.

The unit in bay 3 works by connecing the CX4 in x1 up to the core switch however the one in Bay 4 will not accept the CX4 as the x1 and instead wants to use the SFP-SR slots which are not linked.

X1 Not Linked 0 Mb SFP-SR

Unknown ()

X1 UplinkSet_10GB1 OK Linked/Active 10 Gb CX4 27

ProCurve Switch 2900-24G (50)

Sorry for spacing, any suggestions on how to get bay 4 to use the CX4 connection as well?

Thank you

Scott
