We have a few C7000 running and would like to know the end-of-life and end-of-support dates for:

HP C7000 Chassis
BL460c G7 blade
BL460c G8 blade
BL460c G9 blade

There is no specific document with reference to end-of-life and end-of-support dates for Mentioned product. However you can refer document with reference to Retired Products.

Unfortunately I need an exact date for each of the devices, I've had a look at the link you sent me, but this only leads to a set of documents which I cannot see (I cannot access the documents with my credentials). Further more, these documents only concern the blades, there is no document for the C7000...

Is there anybody who knows the exact dates?

Which generation of c7000 enclosure; G1 (412152-B21), G2 (507019-B21) or G3 (681844-B21)?

The G2 was introduced Q2 of 2009, most HPE equipment goes End of Sale (EOS) 5 years after introduction, so that would be 2014. End of Support Life (EOSL) is generally 5 years after that, so that would be 2019. If you check the QuickSpecs for

I've still got G1 & G2 enclosures on our support agreement, they just get to be expensive to maintain after a while and eventually HPE will tell you when they can no longer carry hardware on support. After that you can either maintain your own spare pool, work with a 3rd party support or pay for a T&M support call.

It looks like the G3 was introduced in 2013, so that would mean it went End of Sale around 2018 and would go End of Support Life around 2023. HPE introduced their Synergy line to replace the BladeSystem enclosures & ProLiant BL series of equipment around 2015/2016; that's what we've been deploying since 2017 in anticipation of the EoSL.

One really nice thing about the Synergy Frames (replacement for BladeSystem enclosures) is that the frames can be truly interlinked to allow them to share uplinks for network and storage for the Compute Modules (servers), but you cannot migrate any BladeSystem modules or servers to Synergy, they'll need to be replaced. HPE did offer a trade-in program for BladeSystem & BL hardware towards the purchase of Synergy hardware, but you should check with your sales rep on this.

HPE QuickSpecs (https://www.hpe.com/info/qs ) maintains older/archived QS (QuickSpecs) that can be searched to get at older part numbers.. If you can get the actual Part Numbers for c7000 gear and its blades (BL460c) then you can reach out to your HPE Sales/Service teams and they will tell you the exact EOSL date... AFAIK you should be able to do this for any HPE product.

EOL on September 30, 2020,

EOSL date is December 31, 2025
