    <description>&lt;P&gt;Howdy,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Probably best to:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) "IRF" cluster/stack your 5900 switch pair together for "Faster, flatter, easier to manage" network&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Use redundant "shared uplink sets" from virtual connect up to the 5900 pair.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HPE Cloud First Reference Architecture:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/getpdf.aspx/4AA5-6480ENW.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/getpdf.aspx/4AA5-6480ENW.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A whole load of manuals including IRF Configuration Guide if you search the web for "5900 series switch" and do:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Related Links -&amp;gt; Technical Support/Manuals -&amp;gt; Manuals -&amp;gt; "Setup &amp;amp; Install - General" - &amp;gt;choose a manual&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also - "Virtual Connect Flexfabric cookbook" is a good primer I think the last config has a design with the A/A uplinks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you implementing OneView into this environment as you might get some additional (and very useful) options over and above vanilla Virtual Connect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HTH - if so give us a "thumbs up" :-)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ian&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm newbie to HPE blade and networking.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our VMware vSphere environment's Ethernet part has the following component:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;2 x HP 5900AF-48XG-4QSFP+ Switch (JC772A)&lt;/STRONG&gt;, each has 14 &lt;STRONG&gt;HP X130 10G SFP+ LC SR Transceiver&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Blade enclosure has &lt;STRONG&gt;2 x 638526-B21 HP BLc VC Flex-10/10D Module Opt&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Blade server: &lt;STRONG&gt;727021-B21 HP BL460c Gen9 10Gb/20Gb FLB CTO Blade&lt;/STRONG&gt;, each has one &lt;STRONG&gt;700764-B21 HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2P 650FLB FIO Adptr&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know how should I connect and configure this network for high availability and best practices.
