The professor went through and explained on the high level what it is, but not so much a practical applications. I asked about some examples of a blade server application and he told me they are "good for any high density applications like databases" I think that answer was too high level for me</P> <P>From what I understand you could have a 10 blade 4U server and dedicate each blade to a specific task or perhaps cluster or load balance them for database or web servers. I found some places that note a "run a business in a blade!" where each blade is designated for AD, Exchange, etc.</P> <P>What about as VM heads? Wouldn't you have to install ESX or any hypervisor on each blade?
