Hi Kevin,

If you want to try reseating server from remote location you can use the below command from OA.

RESET SERVER [ <BAY number=""> ]: Reset the server bay by momentarily removing all power.

It is as good as removing and inserting a server. You will have a syslog entries which say server is being removed and inserted.</BAY>

Hi,

I recently upgraded my firmware baseline to:
-OA 2.13
-VCM 1.22
-465c A13 18/11/2007
-685c A08 17/11/2007
-iLO 1.50

All upgrades were fine and subsequent testing was successful, however a couple of days later 3/4 blades no report in OA that they cannot connect to iLO.

If I try to connect I get -> Autologin failed: The Onboard Administrator cannot communicate with iLO. Please check iLO network configuration.

I have tried to connect directly to the IP, but it just hangs.

I have also tried...
-Failing over between OA's
-Resetting the OA's
-Rebooting the affected blades
-Re-updating the EBIPA info

..without success.

I can ping the iLO IP's and the gateway on the management network.

The only thing I haven't tried (as they are at a remote data centre) is re-seating the blades, but then again other than iLO I can manage the blades in all other ways so not sure if reseating will help?

Any ideas?

Thanks
Kevin
