HP VC Firmware Question

I was taking a look at the latest HP Virtual Connect firmware (vcfwall351.bin) and I was wondering abou the .sig file. Are these used to verify the firmware contents (like a signature)? What scheme is used to generate the .sig files? They don't look like MD5 or SHA1, they look like binary files all exactly 128 bytes.

Hi,

The .sig files are signature file, typically a hash coded version which is used for 'a post-processing step is done to discard the false alarms' during execution which it is related with.
