    <description>BL460 Gen9 has issues with Server 2016 (1709) being installed on them, this applies for UEFI and Legacy boot mode, when you try and install the OS it never gets to the “welcome to setup stage” it hangs and locks up…….&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It works fine with Server 2016 (1607) but not (1709)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP are working on a fix I hope?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is a known issue to Microsoft and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Please see the below customer advisory released byHPE :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-a00037880en_us" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-a00037880en_us&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A fix for this issue was planned to be documented in a Knowledge Base article, KB4055537 by&amp;nbsp;Microsoft on January 9, 2018. Which seems to be delayed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If immediate support is required, please request assistance directly from Microsoft support and reference to Knowledge Base article KB4055537.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To contact Microsoft support, refer to:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/assistedsupportproducts" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/assistedsupportproducts&lt;/A&gt; Non-HPE site&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Type 1709 in the dialog box and select either Standard or Datacenter.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Complete the remaining questions to create a support case in order to receive the update.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Important: This is only an issue with Windows Server 1709 (Semi-annual Channel Release).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
