    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i am sure your OS is windows.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it shows you extremely high values at the beginning and then slows down to the real data rate after some seconds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i think your problem is as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- you do a copy of files on the same disk&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- your data are fragmented, or your data are comprised of small files&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so nothing is wrong with your hardware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ERNESTO&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Disk Performance Problem HP ProLiant BL460c</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a performance problem with this server copiying files. The behaivor is that at the beginning the process goes 50MB/s but after&amp;nbsp;5seconds stucks the process varing between 2MB/s and&amp;nbsp;1MB/s.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The disks are (in Raid1) WD5000BEVT-0 Western Digital and the Storage Controller is Smart Array e200 over WS2012R2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Below im describing the steps that i follow with no luck.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Update BIOS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Update Smart Array E200 Firmware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Changing the Disks the performance is normal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-CHKDSK /R/F/B: With no errors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-WD Diagnostic Tool with no errors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-HD tune, with no errors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So o think is an incomplatiblity betweeen Storage controller and disk but i dont know how to solve it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anybody help me?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
