Hi.

We have a few c3000 enclosure with G6 and G7 servers.

A few months ago, server ILO on one of these enclosures is not accessable.

I can connect to Onboard Administrator but when I try to open ILO through OA of any server, the new browser windows is opened with message "The page cannot be displayed". The same situation is when I try to open server ILO web administration.

I can ping ILO IP of any server, network configuration is ok.

I try to reset OA to factory, plug out-in OA module, use different browser, PC, remove server from enclosure...

Firmware version is exactly the same like on other c3000.

Any idea will be nice.

Thanks,

Ante

Hi,

Check if the server iLO can be reached using their IP address on browsers. If so then, it may be an issue with DNS settings.

Regards,

Vijayasarathy

Could you tell what are the OA and ILO versions and what browser you are using?

IE11 has a problem with older firmware, so consider to update or use a different browser (firefox) meanwhile.

Thanks Vijayasarathy.

Sorry, I am not sure I understand.

When I click on iLO for any server in enclosure through Onboard Administrator, the browser window is openning with link https://<iLO IP address of that server>, and with message "page cannot be displayed".

The same thing happens if I manually open browser and type this address.

Ante

Hi Torsten.

OA version is 2.10.

iLO versions are 1.15 Oct 22 2010.

This is after factory reset.

I tried with IE, Firefox and Chrome.

The most confusing thing is that other blade enclosures (one c3000 on other location is exactly the same like this one) are working fine.

I suspect on firmware, I will upgrade firmware on latest version and will see.

Ante

Sorry, 2.10 is version c3000 Tray with embedded DDR2 Onboard Adminis.

OA is version 4.21 Apr 12 2014.

But anyway I will try something with firmware, maybe downgrade :)

>> A few months ago, server ILO on one of these enclosures is not accessable.

Something is changed.

If your browser has a proxy, try to disable it.

Just to exclude the network, try to set a notebook to DHCP nad connect it to the service LAN port (link-up port, second from left) at the back at the OA link module. Get the OA address from the display. Point your browser to the OA page.

Set a route to the ILO:

route add iLO_IP_address mask 255.255.255.255 OA_service_IP_address

and try to access the ILO.

You mean route add iLO_IP_network mask ...? I cannot add destination IP address, only destination network.

I try this, no success.

Ping and tracert show that network should be ok.

In this case you need to connect to the enclosure service port (see above) and add the route to the ILO address.
