One of our BL460c G6 Blades went offline. We got a replacement BL460G6 and we swapped both the cpu from the old blade to the new one that was replaced. The server detects both the cpu, but the CPU Information that it shows is the wrong one

The two CPUthat was swapped to the new Blade is Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5540 @ 2.53GHz (4 Cores) but the CPU information in the Bios, in the OA Device bay Information shows it as

CPU 1 - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU L5506 @ 2.13GHz (4 Cores)

CPU 2- Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5540 @ 2.53GHz (4 Cores)

Also there are Post Error .212 - Processor 1 failed errors in IML Logs

Did you perform firmware upgrade after swapping the system board?

We did not replace the system board, We just replaced the CPU's from the old blade to the new one. Also the firmware has been upgraded and its the latest.

Try to swap CPU1 with CPU2 and watch the results, does anything change in the OA, this will help you identify if the issue with the CPU itself or with the new server.

In this case i think maybe the CPU1 socket have a probelm, if possible try both CPUs with different board, or if the server is under warrenty as for a new board.
