Slow backups?

I have a Bl465 G1(Dual core 2.4GHz,4Gig ram) running windows 2003 sp2. Emulex Hba's.
Using Hp's VC_FC going to brocade switches.
Running backup tests to a new VTL. Backup throuput it VERY SLOW. Can't determine why this is the case. Need to find the root cause of the slow backups. I'm getting approx 100Gb/hour to the VTL. Have ran a test backup from Unix to the vtl getting approx 250Gb/hour. Any suggestions welcomed.

how many blades in the chassis, and how many FC-links from the Virtual Connect FC module is connected to SAN

Only have 2 blades in production. 2 uplink ports used.

How is your uplink speed configured auto or fixed ? Is it same as in SAN switch ?

Uplink speed is fixed and matched on the switch. Was set to auto, put it to fixed, same results.

And is it in same way in server profiles ? I would go with auto setting.

What is your FabricOS version ?

I did have everything to auto, VTL vendor recommnended making setting fixed everywhere. Fabric os is currently at 5.3.0c.

Sorry Jarkko, i was not very clear in my last responce, what I was trying to say that fixed of auto had the same effect.
I still have the problem.
