Virtual Connect password reset

Hi guys,

I am planning to reset my virtual connect default passwords and have the below questions.

1. When i reset by turning ON the switch on possition 1, does this reset settings of the whole module as well?

2. Do i do the reset on both modules, or on just he primary module?

>>> Resetting the Administrator password using the system maintenance switch does not delete the VC domain, if configured. The password and DNS name of the module is reset to match the information included on the Default Network Settings label on the module.

When the VC-Enet module system maintenance switch 1 is in the ON position, the following actions occur:

• The firmware restores the Administrator account password and DNS Settings to the factory defaults listed on the module label (without disturbing any other local user accounts).
• The VC-Enet module management console displays the Administrator account password.

To reset the Administrator password to the factory default, see the information on resetting the administrator password and DNS settings in the HPE Virtual Connect for c-Class BladeSystem Setup and Installation Guide (page Number 131) .

>>> You have to reset only for primary module on which VCM (Virtual Connect Manager)is running.
