Does Virtual connect support dynamic DNS?

Hello,

We have few Virtual Connect devices installed on the C7000 enclosures and all of them keep sending Dynamic DNS update to our static zone, is there a way to disable this feature?

Hello Chuck,

did you happen to receive any answer on this issue by the experts ever? we received a complaint by our DNS masters that all our VC modules (over 100 units....) would be constantly trying do dynamically update the forward and reverse lookup-zones. we use static DNS zones only. is there any way to disable this undesired behaviour? removing the DNS entries in EBIPA of the OA is not a good option, as we use DNS entries for some of the VC features (snmp trap destination etc)

Any help would be appreciated.

any news regarding this problem? We are facing the same issue and would like to disable the dynamic updates!
