Mohammed needed some clarification regarding standards for VC FlexFabric:

Hello Experts,

I've been through the MultiEnclosure stacking link document, but need to confirm the below:

If the customer is having a c7000 enclosure with VC FlexFabric in bay 1 & 2 and the other one populated with FlexFabric 20/40 f8 in bay 1 & 2, can we stack those 2 enclosures together, as per the document initially it says the remote enclosure can have any module including FlexFabric, but later on it says that FlexFabrics should be identical..

Can someone help clarify this point please?

The Multiple enclosure requirements on page 31 include the following:

All enclosures must have the same FC and FlexFabric module configuration.

For example, if bays 1 and 2 of the Primary Enclosure contain FlexFabric-20/40 F8 modules, then bays

1 and 2 of Remote Enclosures 1, 2, and 3 must also contain FlexFabric-20/40 F8 modules.

All enclosures must have the same HP VC Flex-10/10D module configuration.

For example, if bays 1 and 2 of the Primary Enclosure contain HP VC Flex-10/10D modules, then bays

1 and 2 of Remote Enclosures 1, 2, and 3 must also contain HP VC Flex-10/10D modules.
