Hi,

We have an existing C7000 Enclosure with HP VC Flex-10 Enet modules on bay1 & bay2 and VC 8GB 24 Port FC Modules on Bay3 & Bay4.

Now we have a new C7000 blade enclosure with HP VC Flex-10/10D modules on bay1 & bay2 and VC 8GB 24 Port FC Modules on Bay3 & Bay4.

How can configure VC stacking inbetwwen these VC modules. In the first one (VC Flex-10 Enet modules) there is 10GBASE-CX4 ports are available but in the VC Flex-10/10D modules these 10GBASE-CX4 ports are not available. Can these modules stackked using normal LC-LC FC cables? Is this different type module stacking configuration will work? I have read about Connecting multiple enclosures requires identical FC and FlexFabric module bay configuration in each enclosure. Can anybody help on this ?

Thanks in advance ....

Pramod

Unfortunately you can't stack Flex-10 and Flex10/10D modules - check this earlier post out:

http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-BladeSystem-Virtual-Connect/Stacking-Virtual-Connect-Flex-10-amp-Flex-10-10D-modules/m-p/5985909#M2746
