Jean-Yves needs some assistance:

***************

We have to migrate 4 VC domain integrated in one Virtual Domain Group from one Server with HPICE /VCEM

To a new server with HPICE /VCEM

Is there a “How to” documentation.

*************

Input from Julio:

****************

I’m assuming you don’t want a full data migration, so we can follow these steps for the “partial” migration:

Transferring managed VC domains from one VCEM instance to another

Use the procedure in the following example to transfer managed VC Domains from a VCEM instance to another VCEM instance.

1. Take note of all exclusion ranges (MAC and WWN) configured on the source VCEM. They will need to be configured on the target VCEM.

2. Remove the VC Domains (e.g.: Domain_A, Domain_B, Domain_C) from the VCEM VC Domain Group which resides in the source VCEM.

3. At the target VCEM, perform a HP-SIM discovery for all VC Domains (and enclosures) that were removed from the source VCEM.

4. License all VC Domains/Enclosures using a valid VCEM license

5. At the target VCEM, browse to the WWN management page and configure all the exclusion ranges that were configured on the source VCEM (see item #1).

6. At the target VCEM, browse to the MAC management page and configure all the exclusion ranges that were configured on the source VCEM (see item #1).

7. At the target VCEM, import all VC Domains which were removed from source VCEM into a VCEM VC Domain Group.

**************

Any other help for Jean-Yves?
