Hello everybody

One of my customer intends to use multicast on some of the blades of a c7000 enclosure. They want to know if there is any kind of "optimum configuration" for Virtual Connect to deal with it. Would anyone of you have any tips on this?

For multicast itself no, there is no optimum configuration but there's always benefit to create a specific vNet for a group of servers running a multicast application versus another vNet for the other less demanding servers, this will guarantee and maintain a certain level of bandwidth and a better latency but this will cost you more VC uplinks.
