      <title>Hp c7000 network upgrade</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have a c7000 chassis with mixed bl460c gen6, gen8 and gen9 blades. We currently have two Cisco Catalyst 3020 switches in the chassis, I have been meaning to upgrade these to some hp 10gig drop in replacement to take advantage of blades 10gig flb nics but haven't found a proper solution.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Gen8 blades have: HP FlexFabric 10gb 2-port 554FLB nics&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Gen9 blades have: HP FlexFabric 10gb 2-port 536FLB nics&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I found part number 571956-B21 (HP BLC Virtual Connect 10Gb/24-port 8 x SFP+ Module 571956-B21) online and I am not sure it will be drop in replacement for those Cisco switches?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You need to change both 3020 switches and upgrade your chassis with 2x Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3120X for HP (P/N WS-CBS3120X-S, 451357-001) as is shown below, one of our c7000 chassis:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-center" image-alt="blade_switches.JPG" style="width: 1376px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.hpe.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/136810i6478ABC806CAA3C1/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=2000" role="button" title="blade_switches.JPG" alt="blade_switches.JPG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;N.B. you can do it without any downtime. Just put 3120X in c7000 some free slot(s) and access the switches CLI , adjust ports, vlans etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
