Hi
Check the Power and thermal page of onboard administrator and check Present power and Enclosure power allocation to check power available and alocated,

if enough power available.

Hi there,

I had a problem with Gen8 BL in C7000. It was blinking amber lights and some VMs (VMWare) got stack to that blade server. Server was responsive, and not showing any errors. Once I moved VMs to another host, they had some new hardware detected, and after that was installed VMs worked fine. Blade was restared and has no errors, only strange thing is power consumtion, around 450W. On other blades, it is sub 300W with VMs running. Any sugestions what to check? Thanks a million.

Hello,

If the server is working currently, you verify its functionality by moving similar workloads onto it. If, however, the LEDs are amber, then refer to the table titled "Front panel LEDs and buttons" of the HPE ProLiant BL460c Gen8 Server Blade's User Guide on page 6 to identify what the issue is.

Regards,
