OAs are at v2.04. Can I go to v2.25 in one step? Yes you can update from 2.04 to 2.25 in one step.

Will the upgrade effect the Blade operation?
No OA firmware update doesn't affect any Blade IO operation.

Are there other firmware updates for the switches, etc that I should apply?
Once you update the OA firmware, Login to OA CLI and Do a update device all.
I have a c7000 w/ 15 BL460c and 2 OA. Have flashed the iLO2's to v1.60. Have started thru the Blades bringing them up to current firmware levels. OAs are at v2.04. Can I go to v2.25 in one step? Will the upgrade effect the Blade operation? Are there other firmware updates for the switches, etc that I should apply?

HP manual indicates enclosure cycle will occur on OA firmware upgrade but threads on this forum indicate no service interruption. Assume there may be certain versions giving one result and other versions different. Need to know what to expect from upgrade of OA firmware v2.04 to current.

>>HP manual indicates enclosure cycle will occur on OA firmware upgrade but threads on this forum indicate no service interruption

From my experience Blades not affected from OA firmware upgrades, only servers iLo affected (I assume Blades will continue to work even when OA failed).

>>Are there other firmware updates for the switches, etc that I should apply?
You need fimware updates on interconnects as well (Cisco, Virtual connect,...)
http://tinyurl.com/5jrkve
