topic Blade switch configuration in BladeSystem - General

Hello,
I am new to HP blade switch configuration, I understand interfaces from gi 0/17 through gi 0/24 for uplink connection. How other interfaces in the blade switch like gi 0/1 through gi 0/16 are mapped to? The default configuration of the blade switch is
interface GigabitEthernet0/1
speed 1000
spanning-tree portfast
hi,

I assume you have the cisco 3020 switch...

0-16 are the downlink ports to the blades.
The midplane routes the blade NICs to these ports(this is true for all other ethernet blade switches also).
