Hi everyone,

We have a Blade c7000 enclosure filled with 16 blades. A few weeks ago i updated the blades:

- iLO2 board firmware to version 1.5
- SmartArray E200 firmware to version 1.78
- Broadcom NIC to firmware 2.1.2
- Qlogic HBA to firmware 2008.07.25

After that, i updated the OA firmware from version 1.08 to version 2.25. Now i have the following problem; every blade reports iLO connection problems. When opening an blade in my device bay list the iLO board reports "iLO network configuration problem, check connectivity to iLO default gateway"

When trying to connect to the iLO board, nothing happens.

Anyone here that can help me?

Regards,
Joris
With OA 2.25 the iLo2 needs to be a minimum of 1.60 (see table at the bottom of this web page):

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/blades/components/c-class-compmatrix.html#1

Did you flash the OA from 1.08 (I don't even remember that old revision) directly to 2.25? Is the OA (both of them) really at 2.25?

If the OA has been flashed successfully and iLO 1.60 or higher doesn't fix it, how are the iLO IP addresses being assigned? By EBIPA (Enclosure Bay IP Addressing)?

Note: I agree with suggestion to reset iLO and OAs.

Otherwise I would recommend clearing the EBIPA settings and redoing them under the new OA.

Actually we have ran ILos fw 1.50 without problems with OA 2.25
But using the latest is usually a best practice...afterall updating ILO fw will do a reset to ILO and your problem might be solved =)
