Hi Jon

Right, quite strange because it really seems that your NIC can be just upgrade to 4.6.17.0.
When you see the releases notes of the other driver, the nc373i just appear for 1gb multifonction driver.
You could try to put the bxnxx.sys on driver folder and test, if it's not good you could also upgrade the network configuration utility.

you have to install 4.6.16 before installing the 4.6.17 (required to use the latest NCU)
Beware to have ILO up (or manuel access to the server) before because you sometimes need a reboot when installing this driver.

I am having a similar problem on a Windows 2003 x86 server. I have tried NCU 9.60 and driver version 4.6.112. I still get the error message about the miniport driver being incompatible.

For grins, I re-installed 4.6.112 and after a reboot, everything worked as expected. So it seems that there is a specific order of operations that must be followed. Mine was:

1) Upgrade NIC driver from 4.1.5 to 4.6.14
2) Upgrade NIC driver from 4.6.14 to 4.6.112
3) Upgrade NCU from 9.50 to 9.60
4) Reinstall NIC driver 4.6.112

Jeff
