please help me

I installed the optional kvm module but can't figure out how to get it to work. There is no documentation on this in the c3000 user guide. I tried connecting to a kvm switch but get no connection. There is a selection on the insight display for KVM but it just goes to a blank screen when selected. If anyone has gotten this to work please help me.

1)please i want to know how to connect it to kvm switsh?

2)what should i do to let it work?

What version of firmware is running on the Onboard Administrator? It needs to be atleast 2.10.

If the firmware is right you need to find out if the problem is with your c3000 KVM or the rack KVM. Plug a keyboard and monitor directly into the c3000, to see if that works.

On the master kvm-switch you may need to configure the connected port so it knows another kvm-switch is connected (cascade).

depends on the model kvm-switch.

possibly you select between hosts by pressing twice?
then you may have a menu where you can setup devices.
or you may need to press twice again to get into setup.

here you can see options like host/device/cascade.
