I need to get pass this:

All of the selected iLO Processors will be reset if the protocol is enabled. If each iLO has been previously given a static IP address, these EBIPA settings will not change the static IP address

I dont think you can change the ILO IP address from the OA web interface if the ILO has a local static IP set.

But you can do it from the OS using the HPONCFG utility (downloadable as a "driver" from ilO drivers) and I think you can issue HPCONCFG commands directly in the OA CLI.

The HP ILO forum maybe best to ask the format of the command/script.

Adrian is correct. If an iLO IP has a static address assigned you cannot reset this via the EBIPA page in the OA GUI.

However if you download HPONCFG and run it against the blade's loaded OS you can supply (or gather and modify) an XML file to change the settings. HPONCFG is already a command within the OA's command-line interface. To use it, open an SSH to the OA and type:

HPONCFG <BAY number="">

to upload the XML via FTP/HTTP, or:

HPONCFG <BAY number=""> << <START character="">
then paste in your XML, then
<END character="">

For example:
HPONCFG 3 <<~
...paste in XML text...
~

Good luck!</END></START></BAY>
</BAY>
